Want to encounter that small town feeling?

17 Dec

Some Tucson traditions still have that unique special experience that townsfolk enjoy. Two such happenings take place today. Revel in the creative lights and historic fire engines during tonight’s festive downtown Parade of Lights marking the holiday season. Still aching to shop local?  Visit the local vendors at the annual Holiday Market Bazaar at the Mercado San Agustin on downtown’s west side through Sunday. There are more vendors than ever this year! And when you drive by, take note of the five story senior apartment building going up on Congress Avenue, and the new bridge over the Santa Cruz being built not far behind!  At the Mercado, a long-awaited restaurant is near opening!
