So Much to Do!

10 Nov

November 10th proves to be a thrilling, adventurous day in Tucson. Begin your day by heading to the GABA (Greater Arizona Bicycling Association) Bike Swap, at Fifth and Seventh, at 8 AM. You can get a new bike, parts or gear at bargain prices! From there, map out your day for Tucson’s very first Coffee Crawl. Seven LOCAL coffeehouses participate in cuppings, coffee making systems – even how to roast your own green coffee beans in an air popcorn popper! Check out the details at tucsoncoffeecrawl.com. Living Streets Alliance is sponsoring Art Cruise 2012, where you visit four creative spaces (art museums & galleries), participate in wine tastings with artisanal cheese, all through one great coordinated bike ride. Tickets are available at livingstreetsalliance.org. Don’t forget that TPAC is sponsoring their annual Fall Open Studio Tour all weekend long. You can see hundreds of artists at work in their studios all over town.

But wait, you’re not done yet! At Borderlands Brewing Company on Toole Avenue, you can join in on the hubbub of opening night for the Velociprints show. 25 artists by 25 prints. $40 each. All over the love of cycling! From there, you can head to Second Saturdays downtown – our monthly festival of music, food & entertainment. This month, head over to UA’s downtown campus at Stone & Pennington to visit some possible options for future transit in Tucson and from Tucson to Phoenix. Share your thoughts! Then head over to The Loft on Speedway, to celebrate their 40th anniversary and the opening of their THIRD screen! The Loft continues to be a shining star in our bright community sharing the fantastic world of independent filmmaking.

Hey! Gotta run…
