What’s Up?

Ran into the folks at Tap & Bottle a Monday ago. They promise they’ll be open in a few weeks. The cool sign is up, the papered windows are ripped away & construction work is feverish. Keep checking out their webpage of FB for their opening. They lie next door to the most awesome Exo Roast at Sixth and Seventh.

Meanwhile, there’s a license for a wine bar in the space formerly occupied by MEB on Congress, another license at 4th & 9th for Hudson Restaurant Bar. A deli has opened across the street, Hopyard and VII, a sportswear store that specializes in custom tennis shoes & tees, is seeing business on Broadway & Fifth.

Still to come, Cartel Coffee Lab at Herbert & Broadway, next to Thunder Canyon Brewery. Connect, hopes to happen sooner than expected in the second floor of the Rialto building.

Urban Fresh, the fresh and organic food place on Pennington, has already closed.

As for the modern streetcar, nearly all the rail is in. There are two spots that should be complete in a month – the curve at Congress and Granada and Cushing underneath 1-10 connecting to the bridge.

The facades are going up quickly at Level and Cadence and the foundations for Hub are in.
